Audubon Partners for the Environment
Audubon Partners for the Environment is a program
that engages people from all walks of life
in protecting and enhancing the land, water,
wildlife, and natural resources around them.
It’s a perfect fit for schools, businesses,
and other organizations that want to do
something good for the environment, and
would like help and recognition along the
way.
Who can join?
Organizations and businesses of any type may join
the program. A special program for
schools and youth organizations offers
environmental education that helps kids
really make a difference.
What’s involved?
Partners make a commitment to complete at
least one environmental improvement project
each year and report their results.
Audubon Partners choose from a variety of
projects in five areas: wildlife, water,
outreach and education, eco-efficiency, and
community. The projects are designed to be
fun and engaging, with a range from beginner
to more advanced. For instance,
Audubon Partners put up nest boxes for
birds, plant gardens for wildlife, clean up
streams, recycle, improve energy efficiency,
and much more!
Get involved and see results
Audubon
Partners receive educational resources and
guidance to help them complete a project, as
well as an Audubon Partner Award for each
completed project. Special recognition
is given for the completion of multiple
projects. Audubon Partners may also
choose to take their involvement to the next
level by pursuing
certification as an
Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary.
Audubon Partners for the Environment is all
about results: greater awareness, increased
participation in environmental stewardship
activities, and an improved environment. Join
