Support Your Golf
Course
Become an
Audubon Green Golfer
Show your support for environmental
excellence on golf courses around the world and play your part on your
golf course by taking the “Environmental Etiquette for Golfers”
Pledge and becoming an Audubon Green Golfer.
Serve on a Member’s
Resource Advisory Group
Each golf course working with Audubon
International is required to create a Resource Advisory Group as part of
the certification process. Since 1991, local, volunteer members of these
Resource Advisory Groups have provided wisdom, talent, and expertise to AI
program members. These local partners often come from
government agencies,
local environmental groups, and universities, while some are
simply local citizens with training or expertise in a particular area (i.e.,
hydrology, wildlife biology). In all cases, Resource Advisory Groups
provide a much-needed local support system for our program members and
serve as an additional, third-party to confirm activities at the site. To
learn more, please contact Audubon International at (518)767-9051 ext. 10
or email
acss@auduboninternational.org.
Find an
Audubon-Certified Golf Course
Don't just "talk the talk"..."walk the walk" by walking, and swinging your
clubs, at golf courses that are taking a leadership role in environmental
stewardship. Along with Audubon-certified golf courses, there are
other programs available around the world that golf courses are
participating in. Find them, and
play those courses. |
